{"id":9884,"date":"2026-08-11T16:16:20","date_gmt":"2026-08-11T08:16:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/islanddhc.org.hk\/express\/?p=9884"},"modified":"2026-08-11T16:39:14","modified_gmt":"2026-08-11T08:39:14","slug":"weathercontingencyplan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/islanddhc.org.hk\/express\/en\/weathercontingencyplan\/","title":{"rendered":"Weather Contingency Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">To ensure the safety of our members and participants, Islands District Health Centre Express would like to remind everyone to check the latest weather updates from the Hong Kong Observatory two hours before joining any activity.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">If the Hong Kong Observatory forecasts or continues to hoist any of the following warning signals within two hours before the activity, the following arrangements will be made for our services and activities:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Thunderstorm Warning, Amber Rainstorm Signal, Red Rainstorm Signal, Standby Signal No. 1 or Strong Wind Signal No. 3: the Core Centre, Service Points and Indoor Activities will remain open; Outdoor Activities will be cancelled.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Black Rainstorm Signal or No. 8 or above Gale or Storm Signal: the Core Centre, Service Points, Indoor Activities and Outdoor Activities will be suspended.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">If the signal is cancelled at least two hours before the end of the operating hours of Islands DHC Express, we will reopen in two hours.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">All arrangements under adverse weather conditions are subject to the announcements made on the day.
