Maintaining a healthy body weight mitigates obesity-related health risks such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and certain cancers.<\/p>\n<p>Walking is a simple physical activity that can be easily integrated into daily life. The Walking Challenge aims to raise awareness of the health benefits of walking, encourage the public to walk\u00a0<strong>10,000\u00a0steps<\/strong>\u00a0a day to boost daily physical activity, and maintain a healthy body weight when combined with a balanced diet.<\/p>\n<p>With the slogan &#8220;<strong>Step up to 10,000! Spark joy in every movement!<\/strong>&#8220;, the Walking Challenge is conducted through the &#8220;<strong>e+Life<\/strong>&#8221; App under the eHealth App. It gamifies physical activity and makes it an enjoyable habit. The public can complete various missions on the &#8220;e+Life&#8221; App, synchronise step records, earn Health Coins, and redeem gifts.<\/p>\n<p>Adults are recommended to gradually increase their daily\u00a0<strong>step<\/strong>\u00a0goal to\u00a0<strong>10,000<\/strong>\u00a0based on individual\u2019s own physical conditions, abilities, pace and circumstances.
